Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this a holiday for us?

A: This is a holiday for singles, couples, and families with teenagers aged 12 and over. Please bear in mind that the prices are based on 2 sharing a room – on a double or twin basis. Call us or visit the website for details. The important part is that everyone has a good sense of adventure and wants to have fun on their holiday.

Q: How fit do we have to be?

A: This is not a holiday for athletes. However, as with all outdoor activities you will enjoy yourselves more if you have a good basic level of fitness. Any aerobic activity before your holiday will contribute to your overall enjoyment but you don’t need to have any previous experience of the sports, as full instruction will be given. We ask that you are able to swim and are confident in the water to do the water sports and that you are generally in good health.

Q: What equipment do I need to bring?

A: With your holiday confirmation we will send you a list of useful things to bring. All the specific sports equipment is provided, from skis to wetsuits, and included in the cost of your holiday. For your own comfort, you should bring your own specialist clothing if you are intending to do other activities. I.e your own walking boots for trekking / hiking / paragliding

Q: How do I get there?

A: Your holiday prices do not include travel from the UK to your resort airport but does include transfer from the resort airport to your hotel.

Q: What's included?

A: Your adventure holiday includes the following: transfers from the resort airport to your hotel. 7 nights accommodation in twin or double shared rooms with private facilities. 7 continental or cooked breakfasts. 7 evening meals. Prepaid sports as per your confirmation (see booking form point 6) All specialist instruction. All specialist equipment. Transport to and from the activities.

Q: But I don’t speak the language?

A: Don’t worry, as most people in Slovenia speak English. However, they do enjoy listening to attempts to speak Slovene! With your holiday confirmation, you will also get a ‘crib-sheet’ of the basic phrases – ‘Hello’, ‘thank you’ etc. as this is all a part of your adventure!

Q: What about spending money?

A: Slovenia is part of the Euro (€) currency. ATMs allow withdrawals using the major cards.

Q: What about health matters?

A: Slovenia is now a member of the EU and as such has the reciprocal health agreement. Remember to bring your E111 card with you to prove that you’re eligible.

Q: Can I drink the water?

A: The water comes from the snow in the mountains and is clean and safe.

Q: What voltage is used?

A: Electrical voltage is 220 volts (50Hz) so most things like mobile phone chargers work.
